Three Texas Czech cultural museums have partnered to bring the art of Czech illustrator and painter Josef Lada from Prague to the United States for the first time.
The exhibit of 96 pieces will be divided between the Czech Heritage Museum in Temple, the Czech Center Museum in Houston and the Texas Czech Cultural and Heritage Center in La Grange. The exhibits will open in October and remain through the end of January.
Each museum will host an opening event featuring a lecture and discussion by folk artist and Czech importer Daniela Mahoney of Portland, OR.
