Within the unique stories of the Czechs and Slovaks in the ancient European lands, on American soil or in the global diaspora and through time from today’s current events to prehistoric times are lessons of struggle, tragedy, overcoming, joy and love.
As more of these stories are unearthed after the long period of communism and then translated into English and other common languages, our understanding of and respect for this beautiful culture and continues to expand. Our culture exemplifies the strength and intelligence of the human spirit.
